Welcome to the BCS Blog, The Open Mic! This is where Tim, Jeff and friends… talk to trees.

Yes, we are very interested in talking to trees. How about you? Are you interested in talking to trees?

Beyond Creation Science is the result of a community effort by like-minded individuals. We thought it appropriate to open the BCS Blog to friends who have made this project possible along with others who become interested along the way in this growing field of study. This is also a place to share your experience related to Genesis creation and biblical prophecy or offer comments on details that you find interesting.

Jeff and Tim are looking for a variety of contributors to cover any number of topics. We would love to have your input to power The Open Mic as we continue to investigate and develop a consistent, practical, and potent understanding of the Bible. We are most interested in how the implications apply to culture and Christian society.

Here are the basic guidelines:

• Posts should be interesting and related in some way to the topics covered in the new book (i.e., biblical prophecy, history of the origins debate, biblical creation, Noah’s flood, the relation between science and theology, current events in the origins/eschatology debates, etc.).
• Posts need to be succinct and well-written. Please double check spelling and grammar before submitting a post. A good suggestion is to sleep on your post for at least one night before you send.
• Guests should link their home blog, website, or contact info.
• All posts and content submitted are subject to review by Jeff and Tim.

The open blog format will encourage thoughtful, relevant discussion. Please stay (mostly) on topic and (generally) civil should you decide to offer comments. The trees will greatly appreciate it, as this is a key condition for healthy, long-term growth in the place where they have been planted. Always try to remember where the trees have been planted.
